*Adoration must have at least one scheduled adorer for each hour. Subject to adorers availability, potential unscheduled cancellations can take place resulting in Adoration being temporarily closed within scheduled hours. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Holy Week Mass Times

  • Wednesday - Reconciliation (1 April) - 4:00pm-8:00pm
  • Holy Thursday (2 April) – 7:00pm
  • Good Friday - Stations of the Cross (3 April) – 10:30am
  • Good Friday - Passion of Our Lord (3 April) – 3:00pm
  • Easter Vigil (4 April) – 7:30pm

Mass Times Easter Weekend - NO Sat 6pm Mass

Due to the Easter Vigil occurring at 7:30pm on the Due to the Easter Vigil occurring at 7:30pm on the 4th of April, there will be no regular 6pm Saturday Mass. Sunday 9am and 6pm will remain the same.

Chrism Mass - Holy Week

The Chrism Mass will be held at 5pm on 30th of March at St Christopher’s Cathedral. 

Regular Saturday Night Mass Time Change (Due to Daylight Savings)

With daylight savings ending, our Saturday Night Mass will be changing from 6pm to 5pm beginning on the 11th of April until daylight resumes again. 

Divine Mercy Sunday!

The Sunday following Easter is Divine Mercy Sunday! This is a beautiful day instituted by Pope John Paul II inspired by St Faustina’s encounter with Christ. On this Sunday, there will be 1:30pm Adoration and Confession, 2:30pm Divine Mercy Chaplet and at 3pm Divine Mercy Mass.

Stations of the Cross 

At 5pm on Fridays during Lent, we will be doing the Stations of the Cross in the Church before the 5:30pm Healing Mass.

13 Tuesday Novena of St. Anthony of Padua

For the next 13 Tuesdays, after our 5:30pm Mass, we will be starting the St. Anthony of Padua 13 Tuesday Novena, with the first date starting on 17 March 2026 after the Rosary. This will be happening weekly until St Anthony’s Feast day on the 13th of June. All are most welcome to join!

Lenten Program 2026 – Visio Divina Group (Two weekly groups!)

Tuesdays, 6:45pm (Week 6)

Wednesdays, 10:30am (Week 6)

This Lent, enter into the heart of compassio—to “suffer with”—through a prayerful Visio Divina Lenten Group. Using sacred art and guided reflection, Visio Divina invites us to listen deeply to the Holy Spirit and renew our faith.

Tuesdays for 6 weeks at Mattia & Adrians home in Narrabundah (address provided on registration). Sessions run for approx. 1 hr 45 mins and include a cuppa. Cost: $10 (book provided). All welcome.

21 March: Liturgical Music Training & Formation (Keynote: Stephen Kirk)

All are warmly encouraged to attend one or both days as there will be general formation and instruction for the liturgy that will be incredibly rich and fruitful regardless of your involvement in any particular ministry.

Note for Extra-Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and Lectors (Readers)

If you are currently or hoping to become a Extra-Ordinary Minister of Holy Communion or a Lector, you must attend on the 14th of March and then in the following weeks, you will be commissioned at your regular Parish Mass where you will be formally made a extraordinary-minister or lector, however you will need to have attended the training to be commissioned and/or recommissioned.

Alpha Course: STARTING IN A MONTH!

Curious about life, faith, and meaning? St Benedict’s is running the Alpha course this year starting Thursday 16 April 2026, in the Parish Centre.

Alpha is an 12-week series that creates a space for honest conversations in a warm, welcoming environment—no pressure, no judgment. Everyone is welcome. Come for the conversation, stay for the community. Interested? Stay tuned for more details to come

All parishioners are invited to our Parish Assembly on Saturday 2nd of May. This will be a whole day event where we will be sharing the vision of the Parish, you won’t want to miss it! You will have an opportunity to engage with the vision of the Parish and be part of shaping it!

Parish Office and Collins Wing Relocation

The school has been in ongoing discussions with the parish regarding a potential building swap. The current plan is for the Collins Wing to be transformed into a new two-storey school facility. In turn, the parish offices — including the new Collins Wing — will move into the current school administration building on Tallara Parkway. This transition is scheduled to begin early next year. Details regarding interim temporary office and venue spaces are still being finalised and will be communicated once confirmed.

Seeking New Weekend Rosters Volunteers!

We’re reaching out to invite you to be a part of the beautiful work happening in our parish. We are eager to put some new names and faces on our ministry rosters—and there are plenty of ways you can get involved: Readers (for all masses), Welcomers, Eucharistic Ministers, Offertory Procession, Church Cleaning, Music Ministry, Mass Setup, Flowers and Altar Cleaning. If you feel called to contribute in any of these areas, we’d love to hear from you. Whether you're a familiar face or new to volunteering, your time and talents will be a blessing to our community.
