St Benedict’s Liturgical Training!

To be formed and equipped in the liturgy is more than learning what to do—it is allowing our hearts, minds, and skills to be shaped so we can serve God and one another with confidence and love. When we understand why we do what we do at Mass, our participation becomes more prayerful, intentional, and life-giving for the whole community.

To support this, our parish will be offering Liturgical Training and Formation, open to all current and prospective ministers. These sessions will combine spiritual formation with practical guidance, helping us serve reverently and as one body.

Dates:

Sat 14 March | 10am–4pm

Training & Formation for Readers, Sacristans & Eucharistic Ministers

Sat 21 March | 10am–4pm

Liturgical Music Training & Formation

All are warmly encouraged to attend as we continue to grow as a parish, serving not from routine, but from faith.

Wednesday Meditation with Sr Ayanthi

Sr Ayanthi’s Wednesday Meditation sessions will recommence on Wednesday 25 February and will now be held fortnightly in the Parish Centre. These reflective prayer sessions continue to be a beautiful opportunity to pause, pray, and deepen our awareness of God’s presence. All are warmly welcome to attend

Parish Office and Collins Wing Relocation

The school has been in ongoing discussions with the parish regarding a potential building swap. The current plan is for the Collins Wing to be transformed into a new two-storey school facility. In turn, the parish offices — including the new Collins Wing — will move into the current school administration building on Tallara Parkway. This transition is scheduled to begin early next year. Details regarding interim temporary office and venue spaces are still being finalised and will be communicated once confirmed.
