  • Monday 7am-9pm
  • Tuesday 7am-9pm
  • Wednesday 1pm-9pm
  • Thursday 1pm-9pm
  • Friday 6am- Sat 8am (Overnight)

*Adoration must have at least one scheduled adorer for each hour. Subject to adorers availability, potential unscheduled cancellations can take place resulting in Adoration being temporarily closed within scheduled hours. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Upcoming Events and Announcements

St Benedict’s Feast Day Celebration – SAVE THE DATE! 

Mark your calendars! On Saturday 11 July, we will celebrate the Feast Day of our patron, St Benedict, as one parish family. To mark this special occasion, there will be one parish Mass only that weekend: the 5:00pm Saturday Vigil Mass. We warmly encourage everyone to come together for this joyful celebration of our parish community. After Mass, the festivities will continue with a parish feast and celebration in the School Hall. Bring along a plate of food to share, your family and friends, and don’t forget your dancing shoes! There will be plenty of food, fellowship, laughter, and celebration as we give thanks for the gift of St Benedict and the community we share. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, reconnect with old friends, and celebrate all that God is doing in our parish. We hope to see you there!

THE ARCHDIOCESAN 2026 ASSEMBLY

“How might God be calling your community to become a sanctuary for the thirsty?”

On Saturday, 22nd August, from 9am-4pm, Catholics from across the Archdiocese will gather in prayer, reflection and discernment as we seek to listen to the Holy Spirit and consider how Christ is calling us forward in mission. Held across seven regional hubs throughout the Archdiocese, it will be an opportunity for us, as an Archdiocesan community, to prayerfully discern how we continue bringing Jesus Christ to the people of our time. Alpha Round 2 starting back in September!

With this 1st round of Alpha coming to an end this coming Thursday, there will be a break for the rest of winter until our 2nd round of Alpha begins in September. St Vinnies Winter Appeal - Donations and Joining local Conference

St Vincent de Paul is conducting their Winter Appeal over the next few weeks. Your contribution to this important work would be much appreciated. Additionally, joining Vinnies as a member of the Inner South Conference which covers the suburbs of Narrabundah, Manuka, Kingston, Griffith, Red Hill, Deakin, Yarralumla and Symonston means donating your time to help deliver our services in those areas and you can be sure you’re making a difference in people’s lives. Parish Office and Collins Wing Relocation

The school has been in ongoing discussions with the parish regarding a potential building swap. The current plan is for the Collins Wing to be transformed into a new two-storey school facility. In turn, the parish offices — including the new Collins Wing — will move into the current school administration building on Tallara Parkway. This transition is scheduled to begin early next year. Details regarding interim temporary office and venue spaces are still being finalised and will be communicated once confirmed.

Seeking New Weekend Rosters Volunteers!

We’re reaching out to invite you to be a part of the beautiful work happening in our parish. We are eager to put some new names and faces on our ministry rosters—and there are plenty of ways you can get involved: Readers (for all masses), Welcomers, Eucharistic Ministers, Offertory Procession, Church Cleaning, Music Ministry, Mass Setup, Flowers and Altar Cleaning. If you feel called to contribute in any of these areas, we’d love to hear from you. Whether you're a familiar face or new to volunteering, your time and talents will be a blessing to our community.
