19 October | 90th Anniversary of St. Patrick’s Church, Braddon
St. Patrick’s Church Braddon, the first Catholic Church on the North side of Canberra, was dedicated on 20th October 1935. This year marks the 90th anniversary of its consecration. The anniversary will be commemorated on Sunday, 19th October with a Mass celebrated by Archbishop Prowse at 8am followed by refreshments. St. Pat’s began life as a church-school and organisers wish to contact former pupils to share their school day memories and to attend the Mass and celebrations on that day.
