*Adoration must have at least one scheduled adorer for each hour. Subject to adorers availability, potential unscheduled cancellations can take place resulting in Adoration being temporarily closed within scheduled hours. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Mass and Healing Night with Fr Rozo Palic

Join us for a special evening with Fr Rozo Palic, visiting from Croatia, on Wednesday, 29 October at St Benedict’s. The night will begin with Mass at 6:30pm, followed by a talk and healing prayer ministry. All are warmly invited to come and encounter God’s healing love and grace.

ALIVE Praise Night | 7:00pm

Join us for our October ALIVE Praise Night - a time to deepen your faith and gather as a young adult community. Whether you’re seeking renewal, encouragement, or simply a moment to pause and encounter God, this night is for you. Who: Young Adults (18 - 35) Date: Thursday 30th October 2025 Time: 7pm - 9pm Location: Collins Wing, St Benedict’s Narrabundah (10 Tallara Pkwy, Narrabundah ACT 2604)

Join Our Parish Roster for November–January!

It’s that time again! We’re putting together the next Parish Roster for November 2025 – January 2026, and we’d love to hear from you! We are seeking both current and new volunteers to assist, particularly during our Weekend Masses. Roles include readers, offertory helpers, Eucharistic Ministers, musicians, welcomers, and church cleaners. If you can help, please email the Parish Office at narrabundah@cg.org.au with your availability, the ministry or role you’d like to assist with, and a scanned copy of your WWVP card. To be included in the next roster, please submit your details by Thursday, 24 October.

Healing Mass: For those who have suffered Infant Loss

On Friday at the 5:30pm Healing Mass, on the 7th of November, we will be having a special Healing Mass for those who have suffered Infant Loss, including babies lost to miscarriage, abortion, stillbirth, and those who have died in infancy.

Mission Sunday: Catholic Mission Appeal

This weekend, you’re invited to partner with the Church in Zambia to help women overcome poverty and mothers give birth safely. During World Mission Sunday, we are called to be ‘Missionaries of hope among all peoples’, and we invite you to extend Christ’s love to those in need in Zambia. You can support this work by using the appeal envelope, going online at catholicmission.org.au/mission, or scanning the QR code. Your gift will also assist many other Church programs around the world.

St Benedict’s Bible Study- NEW!

Join us for a weekly Bible Study, Tuesdays 7:00–8:30pm in the Collins Wing. We’ll begin with the Acts of the Apostles using the Little Rock Catholic Scripture Series, in an Alpha-style format of fellowship, video and sharing.

Kingdom Kids is on break over school holidays

Our Children’s Ministry program runs during school term and breaks over school holidays and long weekends. Kingdom Kids will return on Sunday 19 October. We are seeking 2 new volunteer leaders who can assist with our growing program for the upcoming semester. Leadership volunteers must be aged 18yrs + and hold a current WWVP card. Please contact Sherice via the Parish Office to learn more.

Parish Office and Collins Wing Relocation

The school has been in ongoing discussions with the parish regarding a potential building swap. The current plan is for the Collins Wing to be transformed into a new two-storey school facility. In turn, the parish offices — including the new Collins Wing — will move into the current school administration building on Tallara Parkway. This transition is scheduled to begin early next year. Details regarding interim temporary office and venue spaces are still being finalised and will be communicated once confirmed.

Wanting to become an Extraordinary Minster of Holy Communion?

With resuming communion under both kinds, we are in need of more extraordinary ministers! If you are interested in becoming one, please send a email to narrabundah@cg.org.au expressing interest. We will be running a training session, date to be determined.

RCIA Course - Has begun! Not too late to join!

Interested in becoming Catholic or want to know more about the Catholic faith? St Benedict’s is running an RCIA Program (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) in 2025. RCIA is an opportunity to come together to learn more about the Catholic faith. Sessions focus on the teachings and experience of the Church and prepare individuals to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist during the Easter season. This will be a weekly commitment from August 2025 through to Easter 2026, Thursdays 6:30pm-8pm in the Parish Centre run by Fr Samson and his team.  To register, follow the link: https://forms.gle/xRh1KPY8kkhibuVe8
