Prayer for Peace and Justice in Ukraine

God of peace and justice,

 who change the hardened heart and break the power of violence,

we entrust the people of Ukraine to you.

Protect them in this time of peril;

let them know not death but life, not slavery but freedom.

You are Father to all; we are brothers and sisters.

Give us the strength to live that truth in love, choosing peace not war.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Giving to the Parish

We are very grateful for your continuing support of our Parish.

The parish will always accept cash but for those who are not happy handling it in the current pandemic we have multiple ways you can continue to support the parish.

If you would like to give to the parish but are unable to get to church you can still give by depositing directly into the parish accounts. If you have an envelope number please put it into the reference field when giving to the parish if you would like a receipt. If it is for the priests (first collection) you do not have to put anything in the reference field.

Tap and Go

Because of Covid-19 and the decrease in using cash, the parish has purchased a Tap and Go machine for the collection of monies for the first and second collections. It is in the body of the church between the sacristy and the side door and accepts Mastercard and Visa along with debit cards. For every dollar, 30 cents goes to the parish presbytery account and 70 cents goes to our parish.

Qkr! App

The parish is signed up with secure Qkr! by Mastercard App, as a way to make payments to the parish. It’s an app that you can download for your phone, from the App store or Google Play, and use to make payments for collections before during and after Mass, even when you are away. Every payment you make is recorded within your app wallet for easy reference at a later date and your Mastercard or Visa Card details are stored with the security of Masterpass (not on your phone) for ready access when making payment. This app can also be used to make payments for the various special collections throughout the year, Project Compassion, The Priest's Retirement Foundation Father's Day Appeal, Mission Sunday and The Archbishop's Christmas Appeal as well as sacramental payments baptisms, First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation (Confirmations every 2nd year) . There are leaflets about Qkr! available in the foyer of the church.

We also have periodic bank debit and Credit card debits that can be set up for you - just talk to the parish office.
